GSGA Town Hall

Thank you to those who joined us for the last Town Hall held on November 9, 2023. For those who were unable to join us, here is the link to the recording. Your feedback is critical to making the 2023-2024 school year genuinely memorable. Towards this end, we urge you to reach out to us at GSGA@sphmail.cuny.edu to submit unique ideas for events, programs, campus activities, and any other ideas you may have for the upcoming semester.

You’re invited to take the GSGA’s End of the Semester Survey. This anonymous survey is meant to help us assess students’ attitudes towards the SPH experience and to provide the opportunity for students to provide feedback on their experiences to improve the school and its offerings.

Here is the link to our student feedback survey.

Thank you to everyone who takes the survey, it’s a helpful way for the GSGA to make improvements and help tailor future experiences for students.

Finals Relaxation: Join Us for an Unwind and Unplug Event!

Date: Monday, December 18, 2023 and Wednesday 20, 2023

Time: 4pm-8pm

Room 503 (GSGA Room)

Finals week is here, and it’s time to embrace your inner academic superhero! We know you’ve been working hard all semester, and now it’s time to show off your knowledge and dedication. Remember this as you go through the study sessions, late-night caffeine-fueled cramming, and possibly a few stress-induced snack breaks: you are more than capable, and you have prepared for this moment.

To help make it easier, we have just what you need to help you relax and refresh! Join us for an entertaining event meant to give you a break from your textbooks and a chance to relax with your fellow graduate students.

Come enjoy a relaxed setting where you can relax, connect with your friends, and participate in stress-relieving activities. We have comfy seatings, soothing vibes, and a few surprises in store to ensure you leave feeling rejuvenated and ready to tackle those finals with fresh energy.

What to look forward to:

Snack and Sip: Enjoy some light snacks and beverages.

Peer Support: Share your finals week thoughts and get advice from your peers.

Don’t pass up this chance to relax and replenish your batteries. Remember that your well-being is equally as essential as your academic achievement! We hope to see you there!

Paws For The Cause

Do you need a break from studying and want to destress? Perhaps it is time to indulge in a brief “Paws 4 the Cause!”

Thank you to all our students, faculty and staff who shared your adorable pets with us to bring a little joy during the Reading Period as you prepare for your finals.

This Paws for the Cause video will be available for viewing at any time (including after finals are over). Enjoy!

Wishing you all the best with finals!
